CEI combines temperature, humidity, wind, key air pollutants and UV radiation into a single 0–100 comfort index. It applies climate-zone and seasonal adjustments and uses human thermal perception models to translate complex physical and environmental conditions into an intuitive score that approximates how the current environment actually feels to a person.
